PlmYouth Fest is a music festival for 13-19 year olds and is held in the National Trust Saltram House estate in Plympton. Unfortunately the festival is unable to run in 2011, but we are hopeful it can return sometime in the future.PlmYouth Fest 2010
For the second year running, Plym Youth Fest, Plymouth’s own young people’s music festival, brought BAF 2010 spectacularly to a close in the stately and (this year) very dry surroundings of the National Trust’s Saltram House estate. Masterminded by Plymouth City Council Youth Service and managed by Plymouth Musician’s Collective, the event boasted two undercover stages featuring the best young and local bands around, plus open mike and activity marquees, National Trust costumed horse-drawn rides, shelter and fire-building, climbing wall, PYF brand ice cream, BTCV face painting, masses of freebies and much, much more. Hundreds of young people flocked to the event to see the bands and do the stuff, with Deep Blue Sound recording the music for posterity and a possible album.
