Devon Community Foundation

Devon Community Foundation is a grant-making charity based in Devon, helping support charities and voluntary and community groups in Devon. You can subscribe to their weekly newsletter on the website which has the latest funding news.

The Drake Foundation

The Drake Foundation is a local community charity, covering the Plymouth travel to work area. It supports small voluntary and community groups by providing grants for local projects.

Awards For All

Awards for All offer grants of between £300 and £10,000 for projects that improve communities and the lives of people within them. It is for voluntary and community groups, schools and health organisations, parish and town councils. The Awards for All programme aims to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need.

Big Lottery Fund

The Big Lottery Fund is the largest Lottery distributor.  

Their mission is to bring real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need. Their remit covers health, education, environment and charitable purposes.  

The Big Lottery Fund is an outcomes funder, meaning that the focus is on the difference funding makes, rather than on the organisations that receive the funding.

Grants for the Arts

Grants for the arts are for activities carried out over a set period and which engage people in England in arts activities, and help artists and arts organisations in England carry out their work.

Grants for the Arts is funded by the National Lottery and administered through Arts Council England.  Grants are for individuals, arts organisations and other people who use the arts in their work. They support activities that engage people in England or that help artists and arts organisations in England to carry out their work.

Tudor Trust

Tudor is an independent grant-making trust which supports organisations working across the UK. Tudor aims to support work which addresses the social, emotional and financial needs of people at the margins of our society, and are particularly interested in helping smaller, under-resourced organisations which offer direct services and which involve the people they work within their planning. They are interested in how organisations tackle these needs, and their root causes.

Clore Duffield Foundation

The Clore Duffield Foundation is a grant-making organisation which concentrates its support on education, the arts, museum and gallery education, cultural leadership training, health and social care and enhancing Jewish life, whilst placing a particular emphasis on supporting children, young people and society's more vulnerable individuals.
