Paula is a freelance Community Dance Artist with experience in delivering creative dance sessions for all ages with particular expertise and experience with young people with disabilities. Paula studied Choreography at MA where the focus of her research was practice for the disabled dancer.
Paula specialises in creative dance workshops that focus on the crafting of a dance piece, through improvisation tasks that encourage the participant’s creative ideas and individual movement language.
Wheelfever Inclusive Dance Project, ongoing: for young people in and around Plymouth. The project offers a variety of accessible programs for young people with disabilities and runs an integrated dance group who produce work for performance.
Storytelling Through Dance: Workshops for children and young people at Woodlands School as part of their Literacy Week.
