Barefoot
is a small charity based in the city of Plymouth, Devon. We work with
local communities (including schools) to break down barriers through the
involvement of young, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in creative
activities, projects and events. Our aim is to build confidence and skills whilst encouraging
real community engagement.
We specialise in working with those who are, or feel marginalised or excluded. We work city-wide with a broad range of partners and volunteers, operating at grassroots level in local communities, spotting gaps in provision and bringing people together to make things happen where they are most needed.
We are hosted by the University College Plymouth St Mark and St John.
